There's a few threads on LED headlights on Gen 2s:

Personally, I've been using these as low beams for 11 months now with no issue:

They have fans though, so there is a faint hum they're on. LEDs as brights/DRLs are a little tricky because they can throw error messages on the dash. There's some good discussion & links about this issue in the first thread linked above.

Here's a shot of my OPT7 LEDs on with a pair of Optilux XY Extreme Yellow Halogen bulbs activated as brights.

I'm really happy with my lighting setup. No one has flashed me either.

The first thread above has my solution and a video of the final setup. No flicker, all LED. Had to jump through some hoops to get rid of the DRL warning.

HID's are better since the car doesn't have reflectors but instead projectors.

but you do you :) also anyone know a LED for the high beam that works with DRL system to not have a code? pls share

LED Headlights

Long time lurker, first time poster. I bought these "CougarMotor" LED headlights from Amazon, which are 4.3 stars, but Fakespot grade = C:
I guess I need more posts before I can post links, but I got the "CougarMotor LED Headlight Bulbs All-in-One Conversion Kit - H11 (H8, H9) -7,200Lm 6000K Cool White CREE - 3 Year Warranty."

They were super easy to install. Some users mention the fan noise can be heard when the engine is stopped, but I could not hear it. These made a HUUUUGE difference in nighttime visibility, but my stock halogens were pretty old. Even though Fakespot grade = C, they come with a 3 year warranty and were only $44 + tax. Some users complain of them failing somewhere around the 6 month point, but I'm taking my chances. I wish I would have upgraded much earlier. I also replaced my side marker lights, parking lights, tag lights, and cargo light. Next is the rest of the interior lights.
