I know that in Toronto if your car gets a damaged rim from a pot hole, you can get the city to pay for your repairs. I understand the procedure is something like: phone a number and tell them, and then send a letter with a photo of the damage and the pothole and the bill showing the cost of repair and they will send you a check.
Maybe you can do the same in your city?

Jetmex,
What tire pressures did you have when you blew your tire?
The higher the pressure the less likely it would blow from a pot hole (just more likely to damage other parts of your car....)

This is also true here where I live. Might want to check your local laws to see how it's handled.

I'll do a little checking

I found one at Wheel Tech online for 185. Now the waiting begins :) Probably going to need it re-aligned too. There really is nothing like loosing one of those little tires in a cavernous pot hole. It sounds as if you've been in a terrible accident.

Yes I smoked a pot hole last night! My second flat in a year. First was a nail :)

Thanks in advance,Greg
Just happened to be surfing eBay last night. There is a pair in Oregon. $450 tires & wheels. Seems a bit high. Search on Honda Insight (doh! <G>).

And Caveat Emptor.

Thank You

It is a bit high. I got one from wheel tech online. Tires from Tirerack so after today I should be cruising efficiently again. Geez I hate driving the gas hogs for daily chores.
Thanks,
Greg
