Been looking for some of these 2.9s... you still have them all, it seems? The tapped ones sound a little iffy... is that your work, or did you acquire them that way? What are you looking to get for them?

And I guess the others ones would need to be laser welded... an additional hassle and cost, since no one has one of those laying around haha. Do you happen to have IR measurements from them all? These look like something to tinker around with, but not much else.

I'd still make an Insight pack out of them - is that tinkering? Why were you looking for them in the first place?

You can overcome the laser welding issue for a secure connection?

I'm looking for them because they are good cells with high discharge rates (with good bussing). This thread popped up on a google search.

But anyway... I can get them studded for $4 a piece, new. If you'd part with these for $1 per, I'd take them. If not, I understand! Just not much use to me without a laser welder.

I'd also offer $2 per, for 6 of the threaded ones... as I am curious about the error in workmanship. Let me know, thanks!.

They cost about $14.50 per 20AH cell when you buy a pack of 24 (inseparable) used from a mid 2010s Honda Fit

By the math you state for the 20Ah cells, that would make the 2.9s $2.11 a piece if we were doing a $/Ah comparison between the two. And their stuff is overpriced (especially if someone is looking for bare cells, versus a module), so the price I get them for shouldn't be that big of a stretch to the imagination.

And just an FYI, those 20Ah cells are rubbish compared to the 2.9s and 10s when it comes to discharge rates.
