Whilst looking for a suitable cooler box to fit in the underfloor storage I found the following in Walmarts;

It fits snugly into the gap between the seats. I used it today for the first time, not only did I have somewhere to rest my right arm but had cold drinks to boot. The drinks holders are hardly worthwhile but then you already have them in the Insight. It does not impair operation of the parking brake.
For me, definitely a keeper,

That is pretty cool. (no pun intended ). I recently purchased my car and have been thinking about some sort of arm rest.

You said it doesn't impair use of the parking brake handle? From the pictures it looks like it does. Have you come up with a solution to properly secure it in place? If not, in an accident or with aggressive driving the thing could become a deadly projectile. But it looks good in the car. Hey, where did you get those seat covers?
