Nopt sure why the original is locked, but I just have to continue this thread.

The best bumper sticker I ever saw was back in '89 on an old Citroen DS parked in a restaurant lot in San Francisco. It read:

"My Other Car is a Piece of $#!t, Too!"

(Anyone with any experience with the Citroen DS knows EXACTLY what the owner meant.)

Personally I find bumper stickers witty and to the point, but posts about bumper stickers tend to quickly get political or degrade into trashing other vehicles. As such they exceed the boundaries of this moderated forum. I have to watch myself as I have strong feelings about where the world is headed. :roll: In my rural location, there are occasions when the mud or snow is just too deep for anything but 4WD. Then I wish I had a bumper sticker saying, "my main car's an Insight".

Surrounded by trucks, I was told by one of the locals that my car was the talk of the town. If we come across as fanatics, we make few allies. Better to be just the neighbor that gets really good mileage. Driving an Insight IS making a statement.

80 MPG!

Simple and to the point and I get a lot of questions, "Do you REALLY get 80 mpg?" from passersby.
"Nope..... I get 90." ;-)

It's not hard. Just drive slow for several hours on the interstate.
Like an athlete, once the car gets nice & hot, it "zones" where it hovers above 100 or even 110 on the Instant MPG Bar.

This Honda engine is amazing with its ability to run on just a few drops of fuel!!!!! (Hugs a honda engineer)
