OK folks. After much Web reading on the subject of oil and oil filters, I am convinced that the WIX 51365 oil filter is probably the best for my Insight. It might even be better that the Honda OEM one. The WIX 51365 retails for $12 or so each. Does anyone know where on the Web I can order a case of them for a reasonable price including shipping? I have seen one site with them at $6.95 plus shipping. Thanks. 8)

Hi Jimbeemer:

___Although I cannot help you out with the WIX, I can tell you about a little filter known to a few available at your local Walmart called the SuperTech. Champion Labs designed and created w/ the best ADBV in the business. Semi-synthetic media with a 98% one-pass/99% multi-pass SAE efficiencies, and cost < $2.25.

___Just a thought before you start searching all over gods green earth for the WIX.

"...order a case of..."

??? Just how long are you planning on keeping your Insight, anyway? I don't know how many filters would be in a case - 24, like beer? - but that adds up to an awful lot of oil changes

HEY, YOU NEED TO BE READY. ACTUALLY THESE FILTERS ALSO FIT MY MAZDA MIATA. BUT I BELIEVE THAT MOST COME 6 TO A "CASE". SO, ABOUT 2 YEAR'S WORTH.

JIMBEEMER :)
