OK, so I was just checking out some archives and discovered people block the radiators in different spots.

I've put mine in between the front of the radiator and the front of the car. There's a little lip there that holds it in front nicely. If you look at the "smile" on the front of the car, the block is quite obvious.

I've read, though, that that's not as effective as wedging it between the radiator and the A/C radiator. What's the ideal location? And do I really need to secure this with duct tape, or is it OK to just leave it sit there doing its job?

I just place a thin piece of cardboard between the A/C coil and the radatior.

Though I had a :idea: :idea: to completly cover the "Smile" of the car. Looks like if somebody had access to a larger vinyl sign machine they could cut a large piece out and completly cover the "smile". Would be cool if the vinyle could be color matched.

It would block air flow to the radatior and engine. Thus keeping the engine warm, allowing quick engine warm ups and possibly improving the cars aerodynamics :idea:

Just doesn't stay cool enough for me down in the south.

For me I just cut down one of those carpet tiles (black vinyl back facing forward). Can't tell its there and it doesn't hurt it to get wet. Have fun, RIck
