Does anyone know of a small sub woofer box that goes into the Insight & sounds good?

Not sure if the put one in the boot itself or in the void next to the spare wheel?

Though the official production runs are over if enough interest is there Wayland has been known to do another run once in a while. They're well worth the price for such a custom box and they sound very nice without sacraficing any storage space.

A few people have copied his design in the past, but it's a job that requires a lot of skill working with MDF.

mmm, could be a pain getting one from the States as I was quoted $150 shipping on a pair of brake discs. :?

I shot Wayland an email. He has officially stopped making the shoe box sub woofer. However, there are two remaining to be sold for his normal price of $300. And yes that might be expensive, the shipping would be the killer, but these things are high quality. They're made with precision on a CNC machine.

is that 300 for the box only? Or does it have the subwoofer too... just add amp?

Thats for the subwoofer and speaker. They're all completely made, correct amount of poly fill and they're each individually tested by Wayland himself. All you'd need is an amp and the rest of the system. He will not sell just the cabinet because he wants to make sure each one that leaves him is performing properly.

I think I'm getting Wayland's last subwoofer. I emailed him last week and of the two, one was spoken for. I snail mailed him a check so I hope it will be here this week. I have an 8" Memphis Audio sub in a rectangular mdf box in the storage compartment. I was going to make a mdf box to fit in the navigation area but I made the mistake of printing out pic of Wayland's CNC shoebox.
After looking at the space and reading his intricate detail, I mailed him a check! It's a bargain!
