Bringing an Insight into the State of California Questions.

I am showing my car buying ingnorance here, but I need to ask....

If I buy an Insight from outside the state of California, and bring it into the state and try to register it, What fees am I going to have to pay at the DMV? Will I get charged sales tax?

Did Honda make a '49 state' version of the Insight that won't meet california emmisions? I don't want to buy the car, and not have it pass emissions.

Insights (and other hybrids) are currently exempt from Smog Checks in California: BAR Smog Check Exemptions

I think the only fees you need to pay are Sales Tax and Registration.
