I think 3,500 is the number... It's weird when it resets because I think the MPGs are still calculating with the current mileage of the trip even after it's automatically reset itself to 0- so when it resets to 0 the mpgs are still based on the 3,500 miles driven not starting over at 0. This is obviously a pain for long trips cause I don't know if the mpg's are accurate over 3,500 miles.

The roll over point is at 1999.9 miles. My A trip meter has at least 15-20K miles on it but it always shows less than 2K. Have fun, Rick

I'll second that. Trip A and B and <--> roll over after 2,000 miles, but it still keeps track of the mileage. I haven't reset trip B on mine in probably about 10,000 miles (I lost track a while back), but it's been keeping accurate track of the mileage.
