.......important question for you guys up north; The day following Hybridfest (July 22) I will be continuing my long drive. I plan on visiting Kenora, Ont. Winnipeg, Man, then go way up north to Flin Flon, Man. La Ronge, Sas Meadow Lake, Sas Cold Lake, AB Peace River, AB Dawson Creek, BC then south to Vancouver, BC.

What brand of gasoline should I buy along the way? I do not want to use gas containing methanol (wood alcohol). Is there one brand that is the best? Though my Insight has about 1000 mile range, I will need to gas up in Canada once or twice. Any suggestions?

I've heard that Sunoco fuel in many parts of the U.S. is one of the dirtiest brands.
But in Canada Sunoco is different and is actually significately cleaner, in fact it's considered the cleanest burning. It contains up to 10% ethanol derived from corn.

If you are driving through Toronto let us know.
