Can't Get Extended Warranty

Dealer just told me that I can't get the exteded warranty on the 2000 I just bought because a tree had fallen on the car. The repair was done by the same dealership (roof, windshield). Does this make sense, or is there something their not telling me.

Is it a salvaged title car? If so your probably out of luck, but you might try one of the online places that sell warranties. I recently picked up a 6 year 100K mile warranty for mine fairly cheap.

Are you serious? Is there anything else I should know? The car runs pretty good, and I can get up to 80mpg on long trips. I was told that a tree fell on the car, but I wouldn't be surprised if it rolled over or something.meow77 said:You know what's funny is that I know which car you bought...
Well yea....you can't get an extended warranty from "that" dealership. But you can get an aftermarket warranty somewhere else.
