Chipping for better economy?

I dought that it can be offered or possible. Honda already tried to be the best MPG car

The only option could be for power but that can easily affect MPG by 25%

Is there a power or better economy chip for the Insight? Maybe something to keep it in lean burn mode more often or change the assist kick-in threshold?

___No, I have not read of any aftermarket chips but the Insight is worthy of some absolutely outrageous FE without any aftermarket mods or chips. Higher then any other automobile in the world in fact including the many smallish diesels out of Europe …
