I live on the ocean. Many insighters likely accumulate salt on motor in snowy climates like this.

Is there any harm in gently spraying off motor to remove ocean salt? I typically spray when it has cooled.

Salt away.... its the best salt removing product i've found... saved my 2001 toyota tacoma in a hurricane flood.. 5 1/4 ft of water... (i also keep in mind had to redo all the electrical work inside, but saltaway did its job) Major salt killer... i've been refering everyone to it ever since. You can buy it at boaters world... etc..

I've sprayed my engine compartment off several times with no problems. Just stay away from the ignition coils. Do this at your own risk obviously, but I haven't had any problems with it. It wouldn't hurt to occasionally spray down the underside of the car either.
