I have a 2001 with 100,000 miles on it, and the clutch grab point is getting higher and higher. I suspect it is telling me that I'll be forking out for a new clutch soon. In the meantime is there an adjustment so I can make to have it easier to drive in the meantime?

I thought it was supposed to auto-adjust because it is a hydraulic clutch

Would it be worthwhile to change the fluid? I don't think it ever has been changed.

Thanks for any suggestions

It is auto-adjust, hydraulic clutches are self adusting for free play in the pedal. The clutch grab point is getting higher because the clutch plate is starting to get thinner. (Replacement is somewhere down the road, but it could still have many miles left on it).

I don't think changing the fluid will have any effect on it.
