I got my ’06 general Honda recall notice today. It may not be a real recall, just a consumer information notice. Apparently the owner’s manual has the wrong phone number for the NHTSA. I also noticed that the manual says the gas filler is on the drivers’ side. OK, so that is only an issue in the US/Canada manual.
Apparently the ‘notice’ is on 1.6 million ’06 and ’07 Honda vehicles. How would you like to make a simple one digit typo and cause a problem like that? Bet some one's Christmas bonus is not too good this year.
