I purchased a 2x 36S EHW5 welded modules that I would like to convert to 6x 12s EHW5 modules for use with LiBCM powered lithium conversions.
Converting EHW5 modules to 12S is not supported by @mudder nor is it recommended for safety reasons. Please do not attempt this on your own.
The key challenges will be:
* Safely and slowly cutting some of the busbars with a small hacksaw
* Building a compression housing that fits safely and securely in the IMA Bay
* Attaching tab welded terminals to the end of the batteries
* Splicing the BMS connectors to the BMS connectors that @mudder sells with the 18s to 12s conversion option
The benefit will be that will be able to use the EHW5 modules that I already have without mixing chemistry and cell types.
