Hi,
The little car sways a bit in the wind. I have replaced the tie rod ends, the sway bar linkages, and the control arms. After 20 years they were worn. This helped, but I still hear a creaking noise from the front when I turn the steering wheel (when the car is off). Also, the belts squeak a lot when starting up. It does go away after 20 minutes. I believe the idler pulley was replaced a while back (7-8 years ago). I replace things as they go out (calipers, parking brake lines, trunk battery, clutch, EGR valve, etc) usually with OEM parts. One of the rear wheels is also making noise. The mechanic said it was the wheel bearing on one side, so I have those ordered.

The creaking could be the strut bearings. I think they're discontinued by Honda, but FEBEST HB-003 might still be available.

There's only one belt. If it's squeaking, tighten or replace it. Do you have A/C? Does it squeak with the A/C off? You can listen for the noise with a hose to determine if it's the belt or the idler pulley.

Rear wheel bearings are so easy on these cars!
