I have made my own versions of the Brakes, Steering and EGR system sections of the manual – they are accessible here:

I just tried putting my 'Brakes.pdf' in the folder in which the downloaded 'brakes.pdf is located (after removing 'brakes' from the folder).
Clicked on the 'Index.html' file and my 'Brakes' file was linked-to just as the old was. Mine is a scan of the manual, page by page, without the headers or the out-of sync drawings etc. Have a look?

I downloaded HondaInsightPDFs.zip and went into the "body" folder
The PDF's are amazing, but the file names are not very intuitive. Does anyone recall if there is anything in that needle-in-a-haystack collection of pdf's, that talk about replacing under shields / splash guards / fender liners?

i have only an iPad at this time. Any idea howmlarge theses files are? anyone downloaded onto an IPAD?
It feels like this thread could use an update. There's a few dead links and what seems to be 'circular postings' where multiple links contain some of the same information. Is there a better resource for factory service information that I'm missing? I think I was able to find everything I needed, but it took me an hour or so to dissect the links.
There are many more documents in later additions to this thread that should probably be pulled up into the first post. Perhaps we need a sticky for Gen 1 Official Documents?

This looks like it could be a decent portion of the service manual, but is formatted in a way that makes it remarkably difficult to comprehend. For example, the 'Electronic Troubleshooting Manual' section contains 520 individual PDFs. With few exceptions, each one is only a single page of the manual. Some people mention links working if you use a specific piece of software...?

It looks like this is the proper service manual, it downloads as a .exe that is actually just a self-extracting archive. I wandered around for 20-25 minutes in the previous link before realizing this was the file I needed.
This seems to be a document focused on general specs of the Insight and how the IMA system works. It comes across as a sales training document more than a service document, as there is a lack of torque specs, disassembly/re-assembly steps, or part numbers. There is a bit of light maintenance info in here.
A supplement for the 2001 service manual that includes a number of additional replacement steps such as removing the triangle glass windows or the headliner. There's also sections on cooling and maintenance intervals. I may try and place these pages into the full manual (the 180mb archive).

A very impressive (if not quite intimidating) online troubleshooting handbook that is very thorough. Unfortunately a number of links to specific documents require the reader to request permission from the owner.
