My driver's side mirror on my 2000 insight got knocked off and lost the other day. Does anyone know of another car with the same mirrors, so I could look for a used replacement? Not many scrapyards have Insight parts.

They're Insight specific. You might check http://www.haprecycling.com/ as I know they have a couple of Insight's to part out.

Neighbor smacked his door and dislodged the Drivers Mirror shell.

Can It be replaced or do I need the whole thing? Thanks.

How can the mirror shell be broken down for repainting without damaging the mirror?

I'm going to have both shells painted. The mirror shells are the only defense against door dings.
