I have a question for other hybrid owners in Middle TN...
We already own an '01 Insight, and are purchasing an '04 Prius (trading in a Jeep Grand Cherokee - Yeah!).
The county clerk's office says that we are no longer exempt from emissions testing. I normally have to convince them every year that I am exempt, but now I'm starting to wonder. I checked the county clerk's office website and it says only motorcycles, vehicles older than 1974, and overweight vehicles are exempt. What gives?
Anybody else had any issues with this?
