See ebay listings for mounts being sold with new inserts as stated above. Appears they had a source and did a simple press in/out. I bought a couple years ago and they are fine. Around $60 each. Someone is also listing just the inserts now @ 3 for $100...

has anyone tried to rebuild the engine mounts with epdm/silicone or other rubber material ?
For info on how to make your own rear engine mount that eq1 presented ~5 years ago see this forum thread (post #241).

It's still working fine.

has anyone tried these mounts on ebay ?
I would use the DIY bump stops that are in the link. We know they work. eq1 did a lot of tests for noise, vibration etc and came up with the results in the link.

has anyone tried these mounts on ebay ?

Not me.

In the past people tried fan belts, rubber, you name it. I have an outdated article on my website where I used "100% Silicone" which worked for a few months. I now call it the 'band aid' repair. I left the article on my site to show that Silicone really isn't really a permanent repair.
