Any 2000 to 2006 Manual transmission Insight engine will fit.
There are lots of used Insight engines for sale between $500 to $1500.

LoNOx 1: I have insane piston slap on #1 Cylinder, especially when engine is cold, but present at all times. Looking at new engine as an option, used as well.

Why does the 2000 block list for a lower price (new) and different part number than other years?
