Some years ago I purchased dzus fasteners from southco as recommended in another thread. It was

Part Number: D8-316-318-191
Description: Dzus® Quarter-Turn Stud, Size 6, Wing, Steel, Zinc Plate, Black Chromate
Price: $1.96 each
Shipping was $10 for QTY 9

Today I can no longer find that part number on their website. But I found this one which seems to be the same:

Part Number: D8-316-318-190
Description: Dzus® Quarter-Turn Stud, Size 6, Wing, Steel, Zinc Plate, Bright chromate
Price: $1.87

That looks the same. Can't say I've been all-too happy with these, though. They work, but the handle is tiny and hard to turn with just fingers, and they rust, which can make it even harder to turn. The 'D-loop' ones that bennymaxwell linked to look like they might be a better option, maybe...

I have both, but have the black ones for both.

For the CVT with the Dzuz, I keep a pair of pliers (never understood why you always refer to them in plural) in the rear cubbie to make R&R easy.

On the MT, the d-loops are definitely easier to turn manually.
