Well, winter has made it to Terra Cotta Ontario (practically Brampton)

Just went outside to let out my dogs and what do i see??? Flurries!!!

I just did put my winter tires. An instantanious MPG drop. Oh well. I hope spring is comming soon. It is going to be a long winter when I fell like that already.

you guys are freaking me out. This will be my first insight winter, and i'm worried. How do you keep the snow out of the skirts? do you take them on and off all the time to clean it out?

I never take them off. They are "self cleaning".

I guess because of the hybrid system (heat generated passing throught the aluminum body) or the salt on the roads. Every morning, I find the ice that disloged itself after I park my car, on the pavement.

Dont worry about the side skirts, worry about the covers UNDERNEATH the car

I have had them ripp off now twice, First time was covered by honda, second time was not... both in snow

Sheesh, and I thought Canada was supposed to be colder than here. Had our first snow three weeks ago (Oct 18), and a couple since. Maybe more tomorrow, too.

Haven't had problems with the wheel covers, but as stated, the underbody covers can be a problem if you drive in snow deep enough to reach them.

Yes it was supposed to be colder but until now, we had some very nice and unusually hot times. But it all comes back to normal now, in the Laurentides it will be 10 F tonight (- 12 C)
