First time less than 3 litres per 100km

I am pleased! On the round trip from home to my new work space (86 km) I made it at an average of 2.9 l/100km for the first time today! Some freeway, some open suburban travel, up the hill and back down again - a good mix. 2.9 l/100km is about 81 mpg (US) and about 97.5 mpg in the UK. I don't think I can do much better, though I would like to break the 100mpg (Imperial) barrier one day. Unfortunately, my overall average is never going to be this good - short local trips drag the FE down too much.
