Hi!

My insight has had a flashing maint req light for a few hundred miles. It started around 26600. It is not due for an oil change yet. It flashes 10 times when I start and then it stops. I think I read in the manual how to turn in off, but not what is causing it. Any ideas??

I did a search but could not find an answer.

That is just a reminder for service. It will be active as you indicated for around 500 miles. Then it will come on "steady".

What probably happened is the last place to do the oil change didn't reset the maint req light. Just go ahead and reset the light yourself.

The maint req light is only there for oil changes.
