:?: I just received the title for our newly acquired Insight. The body is classified as CV (presumably Convertible). Is this a typo or all all Insights in this category in Florida.

Congratulations on your new Insight!

I'm only guessing, but if the CV refers to body type, it may stand for "Compact Vehicle"... probably not "Cute Vehicle", even if it is.

I'm sure you must be right. I checked the title on a Bug Eye Sprite which is obviously a convertible and that shows 2DR for class.

Bug Eyed Sprite?

Checked my FL title and body style is 3D, probly for three door. If yours is a CVT that's probly it as the entry may only allow two characters. Did someone say "Bug Eyed Sprite"? Fond memories there, Jack

Thanks for your input Jack. It is a CVT so that pretty well sews it up.
I enjoyed watching your Turbo Insight being auctioned on ebay. We had bought ours through ebay about 2 weeks before. I was interested to read of your local dealership having a hybrid enthusiast we are not too far from Venice if we have any problems.
I don't think our local Honda dealership has even seen an Insight judging by the enthusiastic reception I got when I called in for an Oil Filter and wiper blades.
The Bug Eye I mentioned will also soon be on ebay due to loss of storage space.
