Footrest Plugs

Hey Rick - THANKS a BUNCH First place I went to with that number was a winner and the footrest is no longer hanging. I'd reccomend to all that got the footrest to have a spare package on hand - 59 cents , two minutes and the problem is fixed !

Since I made this post, and replaced the plugs the first time, believe it or not ... I've broken those darn things THREE more times :shock: I just don't understand why. I said earlier " I'd reccomend to all that got the footrest to have a spare package on hand" .... maybe it should read "I'd reccomend to all that got the footrest to have a spare packageS on hand".

Is anyone else having this problem ? .... are my feet SO big and clumsey I deserve it ? Those 45491's don't hold-up .... anyone use or tried anything different ?[/b]

No ' blame ' intended to anyone on this... it's a unique problem for me it seems. And to boot, it happened again yesterday. This time, after replaceing one that the top had completley broken off, I drove to my daughters for dinner (45 miles) went to get out and noticed the 'new' one's top had split :shock: ... it was still semi-holding.

Think I'll drill a hole through the floor and insert a steel 1/2 bolt to solve my problem ....... :wink:

Thank's Willie....... I'll go looking for that size and give it a try. Your idea is better than my steel 1/2 bolt .... :lol:
