We all know about the recent extension of the warranty for the IMA. I have an account of first hand on this. My IMA went out around 1k - 2k miles ago, I took the day off and went in to Lute Riley Honda in Richardson, TX. After they looked over my car I got an estimate for all repairs which included both replacement controllers for the IMA as well as an o2 sensor for the engine and I only have to pay $45.00 for a latch in the passenger door! The battery and all parts should be there tomorrow and I'll take it in to get it all taken care of.
Now that everything is going to be fixed, as much as I love the gas mileage and benefits of the car it has to go. I haven't posted much on the site but have always used as a reference before anything else. I'm going to see what you all would think is a fair price for my 2000 Insight.
Great condition (now) mechanically.
A few dents from average wear and tear (136,000 Miles).
Will have new tires before it is sold.
Upgraded sound system includes:
Eclilpse CD-3000 MP3/CD receiver
Infinity door speakers.
Two Infinity subwoofers in custom box.
Rockford Fosgate 1500w 4 channel amp (with one wire hooked to ground in car to make up for lack of power.
Car runs great and just trying to get an idea of what I should sell it for. Will try to get some pictures up soon (have to get ahold of digi camera). Will also consider offers off of the site before I post it on ebay as I have trusted this site for help whenever I needed it!
