Hi guys,
I have a 2011 insight that has this weird ticking electrical noise behind glove box or maybe even towards the center when car is in auto stop and also when the car is parked and idling.

anyone any ideas what I could be dealing with?

thanks.

Does everything in the car seem to work properly? Are there any error codes displayed on the dash?

Can you change the sound by operating the various climate controls, the lights, and other dash controls?

You safety flasher lights usually make a clicking sound. Check outside and make sure they aren't flashing.

It’s probably a blend door actuator motor for the A/C.
We tend to see these on many different models of cars today.
Remember things like blend door actuator motors are potentially made by the same company for many different car manufacturers, like spark plugs and ignition components.

Hey guys thanks for the reply’s. I think I nailed it, it’s the air mix control motor? Is that the same thing as a blend door actuator? Thank you.
