Nuts. Parked too close to a very high curb and scraped the blak rubber part at the bottom of the wheel cover.

Any suggestions for clean up/repair? buffing, etc?

Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks.

You could could get replacements, but they are pricey. I chose(for now) to let it go on mine. It's well below eye level. I did apply Mop and Glow which helped reduce the "scratchy" look.

Passenger side?

Some flat black paint might help. You can sand it smooth if it's not too badly beaten-up. (you should sand before painting, anyway).

How bad is it? (It's SOOO bad,....you know the rest).

I'll add to what Holicow said, Flat Black Paint. My car had some scratches in that area when I got it and all I did was clean it up and used the kind of paint you would get at a hobby shop (Testors).

That area of the skirt is NOT painted, it is covered with a strip of what I believe is black vinyl. Sanding first may do more harm than help.

Good luck!

You should be able to buy the black strip from your dealership or from one of the online parts places. It's just a black vinyl sticker. Then have a vinyl sign shop apply it to the wheel skirt.
