Hey all,

I've nicknamed my new baby 'The Enterprise' as she's done more miles than the said-spacecraft - Its mine the highest or can you better 289,000 miles?

2000 MT, bought it used a few months ago so don't know the history, currently at 245,000 miles. I did see one guy on this forum in the 400K range with his.

In January 2010 dfiore was at 374k miles
In July 2010 RyanA was at 403k miles
I don't remember High Mileage Insighter's numbers, high 200's I think, but I can't remember.

I think there was someone who got around 42xk miles and then bought one with less miles recently.

It would be cool to have one of these cars and have an odometer at 500k or higher. My other car is at 217k miles and isn't really counting the miles much anymore even though it gets driven every day. My Insight isn't even at 150k yet so I don't have much to talk about yet but I've driven an average of 20k miles a year between 2006 and 2010 with my other car and this one won't be much different. Possibly a little lower but my odometer will climb steadily over time.

miles on a Insight

My 2001 CVT/Insight has 299,000 on it but has developed an oil leak last week and I really do not know how to solve the problem as I do not know where oil is coming from?

Anyone else have experience in that area? Also what is recommended as best replacement for tires?

I usually put 2 on the front every winter and the fronts to the rear. That gives me more than 100,000 a set. But the Bridgestone original equipment is harder to get a hold of and getting more expensive. Thanks! NorthwestIL

I think I'm now at 407,000 or so. Drive the car to work every day and take it on decent trips (700+ miles a weekend) fairly regularly.

My 2001 Insight w/5-speed reached 287,000 miles before I sold it. It still ran fine without burning any oil.

Current 2001 Insight w/CVT has 178,000 with the original battery pack :) Looks like I have a long way before I catch up to the really high milers.

Very nice. Honda Insight is a great product. You should contact the company. You car has to be some sort of Insight record. Any pictures?
