Yes, it is definitely a record. I spoke with Honda of America earlier this year and, at that point, mine was the highest mileage one they had heard of. Let's see some pics of the odometer as it's always impressive to see anything over 300k, let alone nearly 500k!

I've only got 278,000 miles on the LRR but I can honestly say that I HAVE PUT EVERY MILE ON IT.

Me. But I'm at just 60K.
so you never had to replace the catalytic converters? I thought those going bad was pretty common because of Lean Burn in MT insights?I had the IMA Battery rebuilt by Ron on this sight, and alot of tires,
one oil pan the dealer cracked, and I put bearings in the transmition.
That is it.

The pictures of the odometer at 480,000 miles are astounding. I'm 21, and I hope to always have my Insight. These pictures prove it's possible.

Hey Rocket,
Are you still on the original front and rear wheel bearings or have they been replaced at some point? I bought mine used at 241,000 miles on it and have no idea if they've been replaced or if I should even worry about them?

I'm also interested in hearing more about the history of the car. How many miles did you put on, and how did the others get there? What kind of problems have you had, etc?
Drop me a line if it ever comes time to sell, I'd be interested in having a spare around to drive while I charge the other! Otherwise, I'll be up there in many, many years.
I'm in the same boat. But honestly, don't worry about them until they start making noise. Typically with my other hondas the fronts will start groaning at lower speeds and the rears will make more of a scraping noise. They aren't serviceable parts so replacing them is not required until some point of failure.
