I found a few forums on fixing leaks in the seatbelt area. This requires removing the paneling to seal up some holes. Well, I'm not quite sure how to properly remove the paneling without breaking the delicate tabs. Any pictures pointing out key elements of the the removal of the exterior paneling (specifically above the door), would be very helpful.

Thanks!

Dave,

I don't know that there is a way to remove the trim above the door without breaking the fasteners. Honda says to replace the fasteners with new ones. What I found is some get damaged and some don't. There is a little rubber gasket on each fastener that provides a lousy seal already. If the connector is loose when it is re-inserted because it was damaged during removal, the gasket will definitely leak, if it didn't already. You might consider using a pliable adhesive that can be removed the next time the trim needs to be replaced.
