Hybrids Get Parking Discount

First hybrid owners were given access to HOV (carpool) lanes (California being the latest state to adopt this policy). Now, they pay less to park. The City of Baltimore has announced that select hybrids, including the Insight, qualify for a parking discount averaging $55 in savings per month (source: AP). With the increase in these types of programs and the price of oil, sales of hybrid vehicles are understandably stronger than ever.
