Tonight I had to jumpstart the Pod Car to get it running. Good thing I work at an AutoZone. 8)
Turning the key on caused the dash lights to flicker rapidly on and off.
I checked the battery connections (Optima dual purpose battery) and the positive terminal came off of the battery with just a tug and twist.
After cleaning and tightening the terminals, the car still wouldn't start. Jumped it and it fired right up. It drove home just fine, and would enter and exit idle stop with no problems, but once home, it again wouldn't restart. The battery's on a charger now and was below 80% charged. How far below, I don't know, but pretty far would be my guess.
I've been seeing daily resets for the past few weeks. I drive 25 miles to work and the same home each day. Hopefully this problem was also related to the loose battery cable. Once the battery is charged I'll load test it to see how it's doing. I'll post the results once I know more.
For now, check your battery terminals, folks.
Fred
