Howdy,
I just recently purchased a secondhand Honda insight 2010 with 140k ish miles on it when driving I noticed, jumping in the acceleration when driving slowly ( not all the time ) , but not when stopping in recently and well as the indicator light saying the engine needs to warm up, it’s constantly on every time I get in the car even 100° weather always wait until it goes off before driving just in case. Now to the real issue, it’s not starting even when trying to jump it just rapid clicking noises. Wish I could be told is the battery I’m not sure of what to try to fix it or what I could be ? Some other symptoms I’ve noticed with my car that could be related but I’m not sure is that there’s inconsistently a large puddle under my car sometimes it just looks like the AC sometimes it’s a lot larger than it “should be” The leak is coming from the very front of the car right under the bumper. Hasn’t happened recently so I can’t check to see what it smells like but it does not look like oil. I’m hesitant to take it back to the dealership because the last time I was there, they told me I had contaminated break fluid which sounds kind of scamie. Please help

Brake fluid gets contaminated. Honda says to flush it every 3 years.

Hondas equipped with the on board maintenance minder system display a "7" as a reminder to have the brake fluid changed.

Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it will absorb water. (spelling edited per eq1's admonishment)

It turns green and sludgy, or "contaminated".

I think that's "hygroscopic," with a "g."
Pardon me sir, I'll try not to make such egregious errors in the future.

I have edited my post, I hope it meets your approval.

The transmissions are a bit janky and you can feel a jump at slow acceleration sometimes, it gets better as you drive and it warms up. I recommend making sure the transmission has fresh fluid and changing it often like every few oil changes. You might need new brake fluid, I did and I noticed it brakes and charges better. If your AC works fine I wouldn't worry about the puddle, just make sure it's not your oil or something else. Lastly it does sound like you need a new 12v battery.
