I saw a red one in big lots parking lot in Fairmont, WV yesterday.

Yesterday morning Silverstone N/B Highway 1 Aptos/Soquel area. Looked in pretty good shape, had at least a couple bumper stickers. Rare to see any on the road these days.

Saw a citrus Insight in the long-term parking at Fort Lauderdale airport while leaving the garage. Seems to be in decent shape.

I'm honestly surprised I'm not spotted in mine more often. I'm all over the place. Lol.

Not a timely post, but I saw a red G1 in Soquel, CA about a week ago. Sightings have become very infrequent. Sad, because just to see one is inspiring to me.

Yea... I rarely see them these days. Mine is pretty easy to recognize with the massive intercooler up front lol...

Saw this nice red Insight lined up and waiting for service at Dahl Honda today in La Crosse, WI. Formerly known as Honda MotorWerks, this dealership sold over 200 G1’s back in the day. I think there are around six I’ve seen around town in the last two years, and it isn’t uncommon to see one waiting for service at the Honda garage.

Good to see there are still some nice specimens "in the wild". The New Formula Red sure looks good on the G1.

Out and about today and met John and his red G1. It’s 11F here and on the edge of a snowstorm, but we visited for 15 minutes in the parking lot. Insight folks is nice folks.

Ran across a Citrus parked outside a house in Vermont today. It's my first time seeing a citrus in person, and I may have awkwardly left a note. Looks like it's been hit before and was undergoing maintenance before the snow came.

I hope you get a call back from the owner. Certainly can't hurt to ask.

Stopped to see Roman, the guy who bought my stash of spare parts. We swapped seat backs so I no longer have a hole in mine. He’s building Mudder’s Lithium pack for his red Insight. Very cool.

Yesterday I saw a New Formula Red southbound on Highway 1 between Watsonville and Moss Landing, CA. Approx 7:30 pm -indeed a welcome sight.

I'm visiting San Antonio, TX right now and I only saw one silver G1 on I-410 near UTSA. Other than that I probably only saw a total of seven from my trip from Huntington Beach, CA to San Antonio, TX.

If any of you are lurking in the 210, I'm the red G1 with the CA plates and DSport licence plate frame. Hehe.

I am kind of surprised that you saw as many as that. Were they mostly in California? Have a great trip.

Saturday, 4/30 - Spotted a red Insight heading west on I-80 near Milton, PA. I was heading east so I just caught a glimpse.

The New Formula Red cars really catch my eye. Good to know there are still some G1's on the road in PA

Thanks for the regards! Two silver and a blue G1 I saw along I-10 coming into SoCal (maybe visitors to Scott out there in West Covina). I saw a silver one in Goodyear, AZ when stopping for Dutch Brothers Coffee. I saw two silver G1s after El Paso, TX; one splitting off towards I-20 going to Dallas, and another at a gas station passing Del Rio. The final car I saw was here in San Antonio.

Who knows how many more I'll pass coming back home in two days.

@Tekuno Ichigo did you see any more G1's on your return trip?

I only saw two Monte Carlo Blue G1s on my back to CA:

-One on the 5/805 interchange going southbound
-One I passed in Fullerton.

I think I saw a silver one driving towards Paso Robles when I exited at Lost Hills on HWY 46 later in the evening. I could be wrong, but the sillouete of the tail lights made me think either G1 or CRZ.

I will have to watch more closely the next time I pass through that area. I sure enjoy seeing them out on the road. Sounds like you had a good trip.

Just last Saturday I was in Santa Cruz, CA waiting to turn left from Seabright Av onto Soquel Av, a good looking Monte Carlo Blue pulled up on my right side, stopped and honked. The driver waved and smiled and I waved and gave a thumbs up. What a welcome sight. I had not seen another in the wild for months. Wish I could have gotten a photo.

@dminno, that's me S/B Hwy 1 in Santa Cruz. So sorry that I didn't notice you. I love to see other G1's "in the wild", but I see them so rarely that I don't seem to watch close enough. Sure hope you are enjoying your G1.
