Got the 92's. I'll keep at 'em like I am and check them occasionally I suppose

Thoughts? Do you drive them hard around corners?
The harder you corner, the faster the fronts wear, so you kinda get what you pay for. If your wear rate is acceptable to you, then you have your answer.

Your dad is probably thinking of wear rates, and maybe safety. Just slow down at bit when he is in the car and everyone will be happy:)

Conservation of momentum and higher MPG means nothing if you lose 10k miles on your tires and have to buy new ones sooner. ;)
With how efficient the car is already, seemingly little things like that can easily negate the fuel savings of "conserving momentum."

I fling mine in corners all the time. It's fun. 1800lb car handles much like an old CRX. Tire wear is marginal due to the low weight.

Remember the "wear factor" on the RE92 tires is around 280-290,. so don't expect too much.
