I agree,
My summer street tires are mounted on alloy rims I painted flat black as well. Makes my silver insight look evil

You have to upload the pic to a site that will host them. Google for them. There are _many_ free sites. Then post the link of the uploaded pic.

There is the img function but many members don't read the rules in regard to pic size limitations and quantity (its as much a courtesy for those on dial-up as bandwidth usage of this site) and the post gets edited to the link only.

Nice photo Guillermo. The lighting shows up the detail of the body sculpting nicely. The black wheels look like you mean buisness, but I know that's the case in reallity.

Thanks Kip,
Black rims hide the brake dust very well ;)

After cleaning old used rims with soap and water it only cost me 2 spray cans of primer and 2 spray cans of flat black rust paint.
I painted them over the dead lawn early last spring.
I suggest wearing a mask and old clothing....

i was just going to go ahead and buy new rims... but i suppose painting the stock ones could be a nice cheap temporary (or not so temporary) solution.

OEM Insight rims are worth too much money, I wouldn't paint those.
The only reason I painted the used civic rims I had was because they had silver paint flacking off.
Used aftermarket or Honda Civic rims are cheap usually between $100 and $300 for a set.

I think they would look better with chrome beauty rings, chrome center caps and chrome lugs. JMO
