Now it's my turn, today I drove home and my Insight died in autostop many times, after that the SOC dropped from full to 0 bars and up again in 1 1/2 minute to full. Then right away the infamous IMA light showed up  . But strange is that the car drove after this total normal, no strange things.....just the "monkey-light".
When I arrived home, I looked in the Shop manual in the troobleshoot index and found out that the IMA light blinked (diagnostic trouble code) 77 times, what is the same as "battery module deterioration".
The manual is very clear: REPLACE THE BATTERY MODULE.
Who had this before ? Am I next with a new battery pack ?
Is the life of the battery pack just 5 years ?
Tommorrow I go to the Honda dealer.

Sorry to hear that Windmill. Hope you don't have any trouble with the Honda dealer in your country, given your Insight is from Germany (?).

Every one who owns a Honda Insight has the 8 years warranty, already asked it when I bought the car and today
Is the warranty also valid after I put in a rostra cruise control set ?

Went to the dealer today and it turned out to be code:p1447 & P1601 ??
Could not find what it was (code P1601) because my car is a import and not known by Honda Netherlands. Anyhow, a new batterypack will be claimed by Honda.
Are there more parts have to be replaced for this code P1447 ?
