Hello! I will state that I'm not a mechanic, just a car owner and have some mechanic friends. Please keep this in mind when replying if possible, thank you!

I have a 2006 3-cylinder Honda Insight with 150,000 miles on it. My father put new Ignition Coils back in March of this year along with the plugs himself and up til now it gave no problems. A month ago the IMA light came on, I tried flipping the switch in the back for the battery and turning back on after a couple of minutes and even for an entire night yet the IMA light will not go away. I took it to my local AutoZone and they gave me a couple of error codes and they recommended replacing the Ignition coils and spark plugs (even though my dad already replaced them back in March). I had a friend wipe the codes to see what would happen. He says he could hear the car misfire and its "bogged" when you put it in drive without giving gas. The oil was changed back in March (I'm assuming at the same time he put new coils) @149,720 miles.

I'm at a complete loss as to why it won't charge, why the IMA light stays on and what to do about it. Below I list the info I know (not even sure if it would be related or not). If anyone has an idea please let me know, thank you!

2/21/15- Installed Bumble Bee Batteries (not sure what he meant)
3/1/20- Oil Change @149,720
3/2/20- Bought and assuming changed Ignition Coils and plugs
5/10/20-IMA light came on and is still on
Error Codes (provided by AutoZone OBD2 reader)- P0301, P0302, P0303, P0300, and P1429 twice, after clearing the codes the only one that stayed was Code 77 (Battery degradation)

Welcome. All standard symptoms and stuff.

1) Sort out engine bay grounds leads, battery earth leads and 12v battery. They all need to be perfect.
Lots of info and pics on here about them. That may well sort out the various misfire and engine codes.

2) The IMA battery is failing and needs a grid charger/cycler installing ASAP to try and recover it.
Again loads of info on here about them and these issues.

^ +1. Just to ad a couple of things to what retepsnikrep said, since I have insomnia tonight;)

Welcome, since you seem new to this, just a couple of shortcuts from my "favorites" bar. First, every owner should know how to find this immensely helpful link:

Checking this ref, you will see that the P300 series of codes are engine miss codes. As retepsnikrep says, underhood grounds are a frequent problem. Again from my favorites bar, this helpful link to a picture of the important grounds locations:

Bumblebee is a brand of replacement IMA battery. If you type that into google search bar, you will get to their web site. IMO 5 years is about the useful life of the aftermarket batteries, of which Bumblebee is one of the best. Some folks do a bit better with good maintenance. Grid charging/cycling might help.

There are tons of helpful information in the IC archives. As a new member, you should learn how to search this information using the search bar at the top of each page. Since these cars are now mostly 20 years old, this active site has seen most issues well discussed.
