Hello good people. I have a 2010 honda insight with IMA warning light. Its driving me crazy. I know I need to get the battery checked but meanwhile, I was wondering if there is a particular way of clearing the light of permanently until I get the battery checked.

Apart from remove the IMA light bulb then nope..

You have a fault it needs fixing..

Resetting the car (removing 12V battery negative for 20 seconds) might make the light go away for a while.

I've tried removing the - ve terminal for a couple of seconds and the warning light disappears. I can even drive for 30km without the warning light but immediately I switch off the vehicle and restart, it comes back on.

You will have to have the codes read. A common issue is the fan in the back panel that cools the IMA goes bad.
You should also have the 12 volt battery load tested. A weak 12 volt battery can wreak havoc because it runs all the electronics for the IMA system.
by the way, how many km or miles are on your Insight is relevant information that needs to be shared with questions like this.
