I was in a minor accident about 7 months ago w/ my Insight. Someone at a stop sign went out of turn and met me about half way through the intersection and we traded some paint....now I have a big scratch on my right headlight and bumper around it. The bumper might take some touching up but I wan't to get a new headlight altogether. Where can I find them and how much do they cost?

List is $260, wholesale will run you about $190. You might want to start watching eBay. They pop up there from time to time. Your local Honda dealership should be able to get you any part you need, but this is probably your cheapest bet if you don't have a wholesale connection. You can try Hparts too.

Ohh yeah, fair warning. The bumper has to come off to replace the headlight housing I believe, be prepared to possibly buy new plastic clips.

My parents own an automotive repair shop. I know the parts manager at the local dealership where we have an account setup. I just walk in and they automatically give me the discount. Otherwise you probably can't really get one. Actually though, Hparts.com or the above linked site's prices are about what wholesale is but you have to add shipping in on top of that. What you can do if your going to have the dealership do it is to buy the part from an online place and then have your local dealership install it, which they should do because it's the real honda part. Good luck.
