Hi everyone!
I'm so proud to be a member of such a nice, intelligent bunch!

Let me introduce myself:
My name is Elaine and I live in fabulous Las Vegas, NV (yes, there are 2 other cities named Las Vegas in the US, so I specify that I'm from the big one with strippers and casinos

I just recently purchased a 2000 Insight. I've been wanting one since they came out, but I couldn't afford it. Now that the 2000s are selling used for $8000-12000, I firgured I'd snatch one up. I think I'm 1 of only about 10 Insight owners in Nevada. Wow.

I just LOVE it!

It is so much fun to drive! It's adorable! Mine is silver like a bullet and just as quick. I dart around town attracting tons of curious gazes. The ride is smooth and clean, just like my conscience. Instead of saying, "It's ok, I ate Subway," I'm going to start saying, "It's alright, I drive an Insight."

One gripe: I've only had the car for 4 days and I can't remember how many times I've had to say, "It doesn't plug in. I never have to wait for it to charge. It's a HYBRID, not an electric."
