Wow excellent homework! I have been looking into cruse control aswell. One of my insights has a functonal cruze control setup with the stock steering wheel. I am not the orignal installer and do not have a great technical understanding yet how they acheved it. Tomorrow i will dig around in the car for some part info to help.
