How do you know you need an MDM?
Has yours been removed or is it broken?
What error codes do you have?
Which part of it has failed? VCM, IGBT, Phase sensors?
I don't have a complete spare MDM but I do have the parts inside it..

I have a couple spare MDMs, but shipping from USA is going to be at least $275, plus the price for the unit. As @retepsnikrep mentioned, unless you're missing the entire MDM, it'll be much cheaper to purchase whatever part inside is broken.

My fault code is 1438 (38), I have followed the process in the Honda diagnostics manuals, checking for 5v over the 2 pins on the MCM, then to earth, then checking all the harness's and I had continuity to the VCM but when we removed the lid we didn't see anything that looked like a temp sensor so I assume the temp signal is sent from the Black IPU which is potted?
1438(38) re-appears immediately after clearing the codes.
Yet, oddly for a short while (2 journeys) the IMA started working and the car was an absolute joy to drive, but this was short lived. My HIMS was not available at that time to see what faults codes had changed but we have checked since that joyous event and we are back to 1438 (38)
Would you agree its the black IPU potted unit in the MDM?

If you could look into a price please, its not very big but I don't know the weight, I'm guessing packaged its under 2kg which should make it a sensible price.
Are you wanting the entire MDM or just the actual motor side of it without the dc-dc converter. I have never actually separated them before. Also I would need whatever France's equivalent of a zip code would be to check shipping rates. Feel free to shoot me a PM.

The MPI module (IGBT) weighs 1.2kg
There are two unfixable temp sensor circuits inside the IGBT (MPI)
One (Hi/Lo output) controls the P1438 Error FOT flag.
The other (variable output) controls the MDM Fan via the MCM.
Ironically I'm just fixing another car here in the UK today with an unfixable failed temp sensor inside the IGBT.
In this case it's the one that controls the MDM fan rather than the FOT fail flag.
(This failure can be defeated with an inline resistor fix)
I do have spare IGBT modules as has been mentioned in the other thread.

They are sealed units filled with goo and cannot be practically repaired.

A replacement module was fitted earlier and the car fired up on the IMA and now drives as it should, I am really chuffed, thank you
