I bought that one. Clutch disc was fine, throwout bearing seems fine, alignment tool worked, hi temp grease seems fine, BUT the flex plate did NOT fit. I just reused the one I had after cleaning it thoroughly, as it was well within spec, but it seemed to be an okay deal overall. I think insightbuyer bought one, too?

...BUT the flex plate did NOT fit. ...
Did you mean, "pressure plate"?

If you buy a cheap clutch kit, and the pressure plate doesn't fit....that's bad.

I bought one on eBay last year. Everything fit EXCEPT the clutch disc, which was too large. I wonder if our two kits had swapped parts?

So is this good fornthe mechanic to replace my clutch? It needs replacing and i just want to make sure im making the right move as the other one is 3 times the price but this company has better reviews!

Hmm. Maybe? The thing with the triangles going towards the center, the bit that flexes when you press the clutch pedal to release the clutch. The clutch disc itself was the exact same, appeared to be the same as any of the RockAuto ones.

Let the mechanic supply the parts, that way he won't blow his stack (at you) if the parts are wrong!

I mean, do you bring your own food to a restaurant to be cooked?

Based on Hondacrv report, No! This so called clutch kit is very bad if one of the major components you should be replacing doesn't fit.

No mechanic in my area will work on my car they refuse too. My mechanic is the only one who will. I have to bring the parts for him though.

I hope whatever you come up with fits and has a good "feel" like the OEM/Exedy do. (did?)

Keep us updated!!
