"I work for Honda and have replaced quite a few IMA batteries... it seems that the bad apple applies mostly to the dealerships because I've replaced quite a few battery packs well over 100k miles. Honda extended the warranty on the batterypack to 80k on most all the hybrids, and the batteries go back to Honda for inspection and then what they call re-utilization which consists of basically "remanufacturing" the pack, and ALL Honda dealerships have the 12/12 warranty on parts/labor.
As stated earlier"
Does anyone know if their new pack is infact a refurb? Does it even matter?
